How long is the wait?
We aim to see everyone within 15 minutes of arriving into the unit.
Do you see children?
At present we are unable to treat anyone under the age of 18, but this is a service we are hoping to develop in the near future.
Do you see patients with mental health problems?
The Urgent Care Centre is not an appropriate environment for treating this type of patient. We advise that patients with mental health problems are seen by their GP, counsellor or alternatively that they visit a local NHS emergency department.
Will an NHS ambulance bring me to the Urgent Care Centre?
An NHS ambulance will not be able to bring you to the Urgent Care Centre, however, it is possible for you to organize a private ambulance service to bring you to the unit.
